Vintage & Grunge

Today I have a vintage looking card I made for Mother's Day and for the monthly challenge at Hero Arts. The background is an acrylic distress technique I saw done by Beate here.

This card is done with digital kits by Vinnie Pearce from Two Peas. I combined the Grunge Swirl kit with elements from the Romance Me Elements 01 and 02 to get this look. I printed and cut out some of the epoxy hearts, added Crackle Accents on them and mounted them with foam dots. I also added one dangling from the string.

    Both are beautiful, sue! I especially like the 2nd card....simply STUNNING! I love how you use the VP Swirls and the colors are fabulous!!! LOVE it!

    Wow, Sue these cards are so gorgeous! Those crackled hearts really have an impact with the swirls. I love the vintage romantic look of your Mother's Day card, it's really beautiful!
