Heart Wreath

Today's project is a one layer card.


My inspiration came from this card I saw on the blog Print & Pattern.

I wanted to try and make a snowflake card for Christmas but ran out of time so I thought I would adapt the design and use hearts instead.

I'm entering this card for a couple challenges that involve using or doing a "new something".  Simon Says Stamp and A Blog Named Hero both have "New Challenges".  I used a new stamp set from Wplus 9 and some new circle dies to make my masks and it's the first time I've made a heart wreath.

I'm also entering this for CAS-ual Fridays Thank You Challenge.

And on a side note, I noticed that I'm slowly making my way towards 200 followers.  Once I hit 200 I think I'll have a giveaway for all those who take the time to visit my blog and follow me.

2012 Favourites - Part 2

First up is Trinh with this magical holiday card. The feeling of illumination is amazing.




The next two cards were made using the same die from Memory Box. This one by Anni is bold and fun.

And Donna's card is soft and serene.

I just love these untraditional colours on Mary Dawn's Christmas card.

I just discovered Birgit's blog earlier this year and I'm so glad.  She is extremely talented and I'm showcasing two of her cards.

Each one is like a tiny work of art.

The tone-on-tone stamping and colouring is so pretty on this simple card by Karen.

How fun is this modern design by Ardyth.

Can you believe Debby's flower is a stamped image!  Love her technique to achieve this hand drawn look.

The CAS design of Jenny's card is magnificent.

And the last card is by JJ.  This design just blew me away, CAS perfection!

Fly a Kite

My second post today and final project for the Ellen Hutson LLC Hero Arts Clear Take 'n Make Challenge and for Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge,

A simple card with some stamping, colouring and embossing.  Not sure if I like the plaid embossed clouds, though they do add some great texture to the card.

It's All About the Glitter

Happy New Year everyone!



Just popping in for a quick post today.  I made a card for the Ellen Hutson LLC Hero Arts Cling Take 'n Make Challenge and for Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.



I picked the colour combo of pool and red for this card just so I could use some glitter I got for Christmas.  It's  the Stickles Dry Glitter in Lagoon.  This colour is sooooo gorgeous, such a rich jewel tone, the camera just doesn't capture all  its glittery goodness.
