Card Camp - Week Two

Well it's Week Two of Card Camp and here are the colours we have to play with.
Very fun colours but I had a hard time incorporating all of them into my project.  I think I was a little over ambitious mixing all these colours and patterns.  I find this card a little "busy".

I made a rainbow of scallop borders that I stamped with Hero Arts Envelope Pattern, to add a bit of texture. I used Versamark on the kraft c/s with Hero Arts Antique Flower Background and Distress Inks on the flower and leaf from the Dots n Flowers set, also from Hero Arts. I added some lace (first time using some on a project) and a wavy banner.

Thanks for stopping by!

  9. I'm guessing that this card was a bit out of your omfort zone (lace for the first time, feeling like it is too busy, etc.) but how GREAT is that?! Card camp is a learning experience and you made an absolutely BEAUTFUL card! I don't think it is too busy at all...I LOVE it!
