Swirl with Flowers

Older stamps often get neglected so I thought I would use one of my faves from Hero Arts for this thank you card.

My plan was to make a card in under 10 minutes for CAS-ual Fridays Dashing Thru the Holidays Challenge and boy did I cut it close. 9 min. 42 seconds. Phew!  The part that took the longest was getting the ribbon on and tying a bow.  Mental note, don't use ribbon when trying to make a card in a hurry.

I quickly inked my image in Distress Inks sprayed with water and stamped onto the paper.  It's a great technique if you're in a hurry.  Instead of looking for card stock to match the Distress Inks, I swiped Peacock Feathers onto white card stock and stamped the Letter Writing on top, a perfect colour match.

I'm also entering this card at Ellen Hutson LLC Hero Arts Wood Take 'n Make  challenge and for Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge

Wishing everyone a fabulous New Year's Eve!
