Dahlia Birthday

Today it's a birthday card using the Dahlia image from Penny Black.

I was inspired by Lin's Flowery Card at Simon Says Stamp.  She used a Penny Black dotted flower image and embossed it, and so did I.  I'm entering this card at Simon Says Stamptember Blog Candy Bonanza for being inspired by a Stamptember project.

I black embossed the flower, added some colour to the petals with Memento ink and used the clear Wink of Stella pen on top.  The four panels were clear embossed and adhered to black glossy card stock and the sentiment is black embossed on vellum and wrapped around one of the panels.
