Pretty in Pink
There's a new challenge up at Poppystamps and this month the theme is Pretty In Pink. Pull out all your pretty shades of pink and upload a project here.
For my card I first water colored paper with shades of yellow, pink and peach and die cut two of the Confetti Floral Borders from it.
I also water colored paper with only pink to die cut the "happy" from the Share the Happiness die set.
I took vellum and used Alcohol Inks in pink and peach to colour it. I adhered this to my card base and the Confetti Borders on top. The colours on the vellum did not show up well in my photos, they are darker when you see the card in person.
I finished off the card by gold embossing the "wishes" sentiment from the You Melt My Heart stamp set and adding a few gems.
You have all month long to play in the Pretty In Pink challenge here. Since Mother's Day is just around the corner it's a great time to maker a card for her and enter it in the challenge here.
I can't wait to see your projects!
I'm entering this card for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes!
