Over the Edge

A card today for CAS-ual Fridays Over the Edge Challenge,

for Jay Gee Nook's Inspiration Board Challenge and for the Clean and Simple Challenge at A Blog Named Hero.

I was in the mood for all things sparkly and was inspired by the colours in the ruffled shower curtain and this is what I came up with.

I die cut my trees, covered them with Glitter Ritz and used my Copics to colour the glitter.  I just love how this turned out, so very pretty. If only you could see the glittery goodness in person... P1120505
I trimmed the width of my standard A2 card so with the overhanging trees and embossed strip it still measures 4.25" and will fit into a standard envelope.

Thanks for visiting today!

Play Date Cafe Anniversary

I'm playing along today with The Play Date Cafe's Third Anniversary Challenge.
Don't these colours look great together...well they look wonderful in the photo but I had a hard time combining these colours in a card design.

The colours are flame, grape and mulberry but I think my grape might be a little off  : )

Thanks for visiting and leaving me your wonderful comments, I truly appreciate them!

Boo!

This is my first submission over at the CASology blog where each week a new word is chosen to inspire us to create a project.  This weeks word is NIGHT.
P1120411
This card makes me think of peeking out into the night sky from behind some trees, never knowing what might be lurking in the darkness.

For my background I swiped various colours of Distress Inks on glossy cardstock to create a night sky and added layers of the leaf stamp and I couldn't resist adding some googly eyes to the Boo.

I also entering this over at Simon Says for Joy's Eerie Inspiration Board.

Wishing you an inky weekend!

Put Your Heart Into It

This weeks challenge at CAS-ual Fridays is to use a heart on your project.
P1120360

I punched some hearts out of paper that I watercoloured with pinks and reds and sewed them on my card.  I added a few pierced holes, a sentiment and mounted it onto a card base embossed with a Spellbinders folder.

Thanks for visiting!

The Sun

My card today is for two challenges, Ellen Hutson's WCMD Challenge 5, use a trendy shape (I chose chevrons) and for Simon Says Dies and Punches Challenge (I used a die and a punch).
P1120309

This card did not turn out how I had envisioned it, somehow I think the sun seems a little "crazy" with the zigzag rays.  Oh well, I still think it will make an okay Get Well card for someone who's under the weather.

Thanks for stopping by!
