Another Valentine card, this time for Virginia's View Challenge over at Lily Pad Cards. It's Virginia's first challenge and she chose this lovely photo to inspire us.
Love the pretty colours on these transparent hearts.
Supplies: Ranger Alcohol Inks (Wild Plum, Red Pepper, Sunset Orange, Watermelon), Versafine Ink (Onyx Black), Spellbinders Dies (Classic Hearts, Standard Circles Large, Standard Circles Small), Hero Arts Layering Papers (Punch, Snow), Hero Arts Stamp (Sparkle Clear: Messages)
I wanted to play with the transparent effect so I coloured some acetate with Alcohol Inks and die cut a few hearts. The large heart was die cut twice and is on the inside of the card peeking out through a die cut window. The only stamping is the XOXO which is from Hero Arts.
The photo of this is not very good, so sorry but it was very hard to get a decent shot because the acetate produces too much shine and glare.
I'm also entering this for the Moxie Fab Cool Tool Die Cut Challenge and the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!
Very pretty and such a cool look to it as well with the use of the acetate!
