Another challenge has gone up at CAS-ual Fridays and this week you need to use a marker on your project.
I swiped some Distress Markers across watercolour paper and blended them with water for a loose, kind of care-free backdrop for the funky leaf from the Fronds set at Impression Obsession.
I used Spica Glitter Pens and Stardust Pens to colour some of the little circles on the leaf and I pulled out my Crop-a-Dile to add eyelets. Am I the only one who has a huge stash of eyelets that rarely get used? I think they may be passé.
A friend suggested I should enter this for the Make Your Own Background Paper Challenge in the Moxie Fab World and so I am.
Thanks for visiting today!
Just beautiful Sue :)

What a beautiful card! I actually love the eyelets on this card, and which we saw them used more often. Maybe like our old jeans, if we hang on to them long enough, they'll come back in style! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteEvery bit you put on this card makes a stunning piece of ART. I can just see it hanging on an acrylic frame on display in a gallery type shop.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I'm always stumped with distressed markers, and this has given me some ideas. Great card!
ReplyDeleteYour card turned out really beautifully Sue! That bg is awesome!
