This weeks challenge at Hero Arts is to use paper piecing on stamped projects. Since I don't have many stamps that will work with this technique I found it a bit of a challenge.
I used the Scallop Circle stamp for this. I inked each scallop with different coloured pigment inks and embossed with clear embossing powder. I cut them out and mounted them with foam dots. I used nestie dies to make the inner layers of my flower and added a button. I thought the Large Dot Flourish stamp looked like a flower stem so I embossed parts of it onto dotted paper, one for the big flower and one for the small flower. I like how this turned out, a happy flower with its rainbow colours.
