Happy World Card Making Day! I made a few Christmas cards for the occasion! This card was made using a brass stencil and embossing paste which was sprinkled with glitter. It's a nice snowy scene with dimension and it sparkles!
Supplies - Dreamweaver Stencil (LL459 Row of Houses), Dreamweaver Stencil Paste (Glossy White), Martha Stewart Glitter (Fine Crystal), Brilliance Pigment Ink (Moonlight White)
Here's a close-up so you can see the dimension.
For this card I used the cuttlebug and embossing folder on some very textured, almost plastic like paper that I had from who knows where. I swiped a Brilliance Inkpad across the raised surface to add a little bit of shimmer. I stamped the little tree and matted it and added the velvet ribbon which gives some next texture.
Supplies - Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (Snowflakes), Stampede Collection Tree Stamp, Sentiment unknown, Brilliance Pigment Ink (Moonlight White), Vivid Dye Ink (Vintage Green)
This card is made with a brass stencil and embossing paste. This time after the embossing paste dried (takes about 30 minutes) I placed the stencil back on top of the paste and used iridescent Shiva Artist Paintstiks to colour the ornaments. This is an oil paint in a stick form and I used a stencil brush to apply it.
The sentiment was done with a brass stencil and silver pigment ink.
Supplies - Dreamweaver Stencils (LM240 Greetings, LL468 Christmas Ornaments), Dreamweaver Embossing Paste (Glossy White), Shiva Artist Paintstik (Iridescent), Yasutomo Pigment Ink (Silver)
