I'm back with another acetate card using the same digital tree images that I used yesterday.
This time I embossed the card base with snow dots which I sparkled up with some Stickles. For the sentiment strip I stamped the image with dye ink, ran it through my Xyron with the adhesive applied to the sentiment side and covered it with Glitter Ritz. Since the Glitter Ritz is transparent the stamped sentiment can still be seen.
I'm entering this card at Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge and at Hero Arts for their monthly challenge.

Acetate Scene
I have another card for the Hero Arts Monthly Challenge.
This card has an embossed card base with an acetate overlay. The trees are digital images that I printed on the acetate and the snowflakes were stamped. I added a glittered strip of snow and finished off with some gems.
It's my first time using the Christmas Words folder and I just love the fonts and how deep the embossing is on the paper. I highly recommend it for your Christmas stash.
I have to say that this card is so much prettier in real life but between the acetate and the glitter I could not get a decent picture that showcases them both.
I'm entering this card at CAS-ual Fridays Winter Blues Challenge but I'm not entirely sure if the colour "pool" qualifies for this challenge : )
And I'm also entering this at the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.
Thanks so much for visiting today, I appreciate all the comments you leave me!

Simon Says...Sketch
I have a card today for a sketch challenge over at Simon Says Challenge.
This sketch kind of scared me with all its layers and somehow I felt I needed to use patterned paper on the card. If you follow my blog you know I have a fear of patterned paper, it makes me break out in a cold sweat.
I remembered I had won a Basic Grey paper pack a long time ago so I decided my card was going to be made from papers in this pack. Instead of starting my card with a stamp I started with papers and then picked my stamp last.
Am I happy with the result? Sort of. I like everything except the middle band. If I had to do it over I would pick another pattern for that section.
Thanks for stopping by!
As a side note. The tree stamp is from Sunday International and is called Lone Tree Silhouette. I can't seem to find it online.

Joys of the Season
Here's a snowflake card full of inky goodness.
I first inked up some watercolour paper with Distress Stains, then layered stamped snowflake images on top in different shades of blue and finally white embossed some snowflakes on top of that. Love the little pops of red in this colour scheme.
I'm entering this card at CAS-ual Fridays Winter Blues Challenge. There's still a few days left to play!
Wishing you an inky day!
