Ho Ho Deer Circle

The Ho Ho Deer Circle from Simon Says Stamp just made Christmas projects a lot more fun! This has got to be my favorite die released for this Christmas.

It's easy to use and makes fabulous shaker cards and tags.

Who can resist this cutie face, especially with a touch of plaid?

Add a pompom nose and some googly eyes and the cuteness sky rockets!

Really, there are so many possibilities with this die. Next I think I might try some foiling!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Favorite Things Card Design Superstar

I made a card for MFT 2019 Card Design Superstar Challenge in the Clean and Simple Category.

I started by embossing the MFT Marble Background with Wow Clear Matt Dull Embossing Powder on Silver Matt Mirror Board. The marble design looks like it's etched into the mirror board.  Very elegant in person. I cut various strips of the embossed panel and adhered them at an angle onto Neenah Linen card stock.

The celebrate die cut (from MFT Celebratory Greetings) was inked to fade out from dark to light blue and is stacked 4 layers high. The leaf from the MFT Stitched Blooms set was inked in pink and I added one gem.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

It's Been Awhile

Hi everyone!

It's been awhile since I've posted to my blog. Sometimes life just gets super busy! I haven't stopped making cards, just haven't been posting any pics of them. Bad me!

I've been enamored with Art Impressions stamps and making those amazing little scenes that Bonnie Krebs showcases on Watercolor Wednesdays over at their Youtube channel. Here's a few cards I made, totally following Bonnie's designs until I get better at the technique.

Sweet little pitcher with flowers.

A bicycle.

And two different attempts at this scene.

I hope to get better at watercoloring the Art Impressions way!
