Christmas Porch Easel Card

Hello crafters! I have my last Poppystamps project of the year and it's using the Winter Porch Pop Up Easel Die Set.

This is such a charming die set that can be used all year long depending on how you want to decorate your porch. And this card folds flat and fits in an A2 envelope!

I added a couple of glittery evergreens, a little snow on the roof and a hanging mistletoe from the door.

Have a great week!

Snowflake

Hello crafters! I have a clean and simple snowflake card for you today.

I created a stripy glittery background for the Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake. The snowflake was die cut three times from white cardstock and then I added a layer of Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter on top for a subtle sugary shimmer. A white embossed sentiment on black finished the card!

Masculine Christmas

Today I used a little plaid to help create a more masculine Christmas card.

Combined with Poppystamps Adriana Wreath and the dark grey, red and gold colours I think this is a great clean, simple and elegant card for one of the guys.

Shaker Tree

I have a clean and simple shaker card today.

I decided to go with a white theme and let the shaker elements be the colour in the card.

The Christmas Tree is from the Very Merry die set from Papertrey Ink. I really like the shape of this tree with its soft scalloped edges. The shaker bits are clay peppermint candy shapes and sparkling clear sequins.

For the background I die cut a bunch of snowflakes from white card stock and adhered them to the card base for some added texture.

Rudolph

Hello crafters! I have a silly Rudolph Christmas card today.

This is my first time using the Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Deer die. He's such a cutie with his jaunty scarf.

I die cut Rudolph from a variety of cardstock and adhered him on top of a background that I inked with Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.

For a little fun I added pompoms onto his antlers and gave Rudolph some googly eyes.

I'm submitting this card for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, Happy Holidays, here and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Christmas, here.

Hello crafters! Today I have a Christmas card with a galaxy sky background!

Lovely Leaves

Hello crafters! Today I have a card for the Altenew October Inspiration Challenge, which is a photo challenge of the pic below.

I used my brand new Altenew Leaf Mix Dies to create the card. Love all the leafy options in this set. I coloured a bunch of glossy card stock with alcohol inks in a variety of colours and die cut my leaves from them and added them to a kraft card base that was flicked with metallic gold paint. The sentiment is from the older but a fave Label Love stamp set.

I'm also entering this in Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes, which can be found here.

MFT Card Design Superstar: Clean & Simple

I managed to squeeze in some crafty time and made a card for the annual MFT Card Design Superstar Contest. As it happens I just received the new MFT Holly Jolly Cardinals dies and wanted to use them for my card. Love these cutie birds.

I paper pieced my bird and decided I didn't want it to be a holiday bird so instead of using the fuzzy trim for the hat I used some small dies in the set and made them into little flowers and used them for the trim on the hat.

I used the MFT Rainbow Whimsy die with gold and silver sparkle paper and stamped the sentiment from the older MFT set Peaceful Wildflowers. I also did a bit of inking behind the bird with Distress Ink.

This was such a fun card to make and can't wait to send it to a crafty friend!

Have a great day!

Floral Thanks

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Today I have a card featuring Poppystamps stamps, patterned paper and an embossing folder.

I wanted to use some patterned paper for the wild rose image and really liked how different the black paper with colourful flowers and leaves looked with white heat embossing. It's a little unexpected I think.

To make this simple card a little more interesting I added a bright pink panel that was embossed for some texture and visual interest.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Shamrock Shaker

Hello crafters. Today I have a shamrock shaker card for St. Patrick's Day.

For my shaker window I made a frame by die cutting two square dies together. I added a mix of gold and green sequins, gems and beads for the shaker element and adhered this to a green card base.

I created two shamrocks by die cutting hearts from Doodlebug paper. I adhered one shamrock to the front of the shaker window and added foam squares to the back of the second shamrock so that there was some dimension.

I finished off with a gemstone and sentiment.

I'm sharing this card over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, A Bit O' Green and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Use Some Green.

Lil Gnome

I decided to make a birthday shaker card with some fun patterned papers, colourful sequins and of course a pom pom!
