I'm still making cards using leaves, someone please stop me...
For this leaf I used Distress Inks, applied a layer of Crackle Accents and let it do its magic, love how it turned out with all those tiny cracks.
I'm entering this card over at CAS-ual Fridays Fall Fun Challenge and Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.

The Fern
A quick thank you card today that's for the CAS-ual Fridays Black & White + One Challenge and for Simon Says Emboss It Challenge.
I couldn't find the right shade of green cardstock for the thin strip along the focal image so I inked up some white cardstock with Versamark and covered it with the embossing powder I used for the fern and voila, a perfect match.
Thanks for stopping by!

Simon Says...Chevrons
A quick card for the Simon Says We're So Trendy Challenge.
The challenge involves using one or more of these current paper crafting trends.
Neon, hexagons and chevrons are very hot right now. I wanted to use neon and chevrons on my card but in the end I chose to use just chevrons for my "grass".

Leaves
I like this time of year, it lets me indulge in one of my favourite obsessions...leaves. In particular, fall leaves in all their glorious colour. I could spend hours inking up leaf stamps with Distress Inks, spritzing them with water and stamping them on watercolour paper and that's pretty much what I did yesterday.
With so many inky leaves I just had to make another card.
But I made a couple of small changes in the second design.
Well it seemed only right to add another one into the mix.
Then I thought a fourth card would make this a great gift set and I forced myself to stop there : ) but I could have made more...
What I love about this is that no two leaves are ever the same just like in nature...sigh.
Each card is a little different from the others. Some have distressing, one has deckled edges, the brads and sentiments vary but they all have sparkly Glitter Ritz strips which are just so pretty. I wish it showed up better in the photos.
I'm entering these cards over at the Hero Arts September Challenge and over at Moxie Fab Worlds Repetition Challenge. There's still lots of time to enter a project for each challenge.
Wishing you an inky day!
