There were so many projects that made my heart sing and made me smile that I decided to not worry about the number count and just show you my top picks.

Embossed Snowflake

This is my second post for today. Keep scrolling down to see my Wednesday Wonders.

I didn't have a chance to use this beautiful snowflake from BoBunny yet so I wanted to make a quick card and show it off. I love how the snowflake looks embossed in Turquoise Tapestry embossing powder, so pretty. The background is Hero Arts Woodgrain stamp and  I used Kassie's Brocade from Cuttlebug to emboss the red cardstock.

I probably won't be posting again before Christmas so I would like to wish everyone all the best during the holidays. Merry Christmas!

Tiffany Doodles Christmas Challenge and Blog Hop

Here is my first project as Design Team member for Tiffany Doodles. The December challenge is Christmas and runs from Dec. 7-31 with a new challenge starting every month on the 7th!

I had a crazy Dr. Suess kind-of-moment when I combined the two images for this card, Christmas Sleigh and Presents. I used Distress Inks on the gifts and Prismacolors and glitter pens on the sleigh. I put lots of Glossy Accents on the sleigh runner to make it nice and shiny and used Mica Flakes for the snow.

If you're here from the Blog Hop, yippee you're almost at the end of the journey. Only two more blogs left! If you don't know what I'm talking about, there's a Blog Hop that started at Tiffany Doodles. Go check it out!

To win prizes, become a follower of every blog on the list and leave a comment at each blog. The more comments, the more prizes you could win! There will be 3 Grand Prizes of 3 digi images for each winner and every blog will also have a random winner. Check back on Friday at the Tiffany Doodles blog and here to see if you're a lucky winner.

The random winner from my blog will win the Birdies Housework image which I used on this "We've Moved" card.

Now before you head on over to the next blog I just want to remind you of the digi special going on right now, buy 3 get 1 free. Who doesn't love a special! Also, Tiffany is madly working away at a new and improved blog to make your shopping experience so much easier. Keep your eyes peeled for all the great changes! And if you know of anyone who would love to have Tiffany Doodles sponsor a challenge, just click here to find out all the info.

Your next stop on the hop is Willemien's blog. Go check out what wonderful things she's created with her digi images!

Thinking Inking Snowflakes

I finally had a chance to play using techniques from Jennifer's Thinking Inking here. It's so much fun to get all inky!

Both cards were white embossed on watercolour paper and Alcohol Inks were applied ontop. They both have a soft shimmer to them from using Pearl and Silver Mixatives.

My fave is this first one. It's so pretty in person with the shimmery background, the glittered snowflake and the sparkly Stickles. The camera really doesn't do it justice.

Wishing everyone a sparkly day!

There are so many talented people out there crafting away in their little corner of the world. They have amazing and beautiful creations and I thought I would share with you some of the ones that have caught my eye. I hope they give you inspiration and I know they will bring a smile to your face!

This one I just laid eyes on a few minutes ago. The exquisite elegance of this card is amazing. Lucy has such a knack making the simple look extraordinary. Take a peek here.

And now at the opposite side of elegance is this cute and charming card by Ayana. Love the happy little critters on this card here.

Love the big butterfly on this card here. It's so delicate and fits with the background wonderfully.

The card here has an image stamped on paper-thin wood. Fabulous!

Pia is a very clever stamper and the Christmas card she made here is amazing!

Another card for the Hero Arts monthly challenge here. This is a simple card without a lot of bulk, great for sending out in the mail during the holidays.

Embellish Magazine

I was seeing so many beautiful cards made for Embellish Magazines Color Challenge (plus background stamping) that I decided to make one for the challenge too.

This colour combo is not one that I would think to put together but I loved playing with it.

I used alcohol inks to colour some glossy cardstock and white embossed the flower on this. I clear embossed the background on the black paper and used the Cuttlebug to emboss the white card base.

Falling Leaves

I love the colours of fall and have a tiny obsession with all things leafy so a leafy card for the Hero Arts Everything Autumn challenge and the Caardvarks Clean & Simple Challenge is a perfect fit.

I stamped the leaves and sentiment on cream coloured vellum and overlayed this onto cardstock stamped with a blue flourish background and added some ribbon. I wanted to keep it simple so the colourful beauty of the leaves is the focus.
