Linda's Popped Blog Hop

We're having a hop today for the wonderful Linda Trace who is one of the co-founders of A Blog Named Hero.  She just gave birth to sweet Olivia so we are celebrating with a hop.

I created a fun Welcome Baby card using some Hero Arts stamps and Hero Arts cut files from Silhouette. Love that cutie elephant.

Using Vellum at A Blog Named Hero

Hi everyone! There's a new challenge up at A Blog Named Hero and it's all about using vellum on your projects.

I love using vellum, it's such a versatile product and one of my favourite ways of using it is by inking it up with Alcohol Inks.
ABNH Vellum Challenge
The flower panel was inked using Watermelon, Sunshine Yellow and some Pearl Mixative.  I was going for a soft blend of colours here to go with the white embossing.  For the butterflies, another piece of vellum was inked using the same colours but not the Mixative so the colours are a bit bolder and not as blended.

Make sure to stop by A Blog Named Hero to be inspired by all the fab projects created by the design team. The Vellum Challenge lasts for 2 weeks and one lucky person will win a gift voucher to do some shopping at Simon Says Stamp.

It's All Blue

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

Really quick post today with a card made for Simon Says Monochromatic Challenge and the Pretty Pink Posh 10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Challenge.
P1190730c
This is my second card for the Craft Dash and I was more prepared and organized than for my first card.  I used my Vagabond to do some die cutting and embossing so this card came together pretty quick.  The longest part was getting the balloon strings to co-operate.  I finished in 9 min 34 seconds.  Cutting it close one more time...

Craft Dash & Triangles

Is it possible to create a card in 10 minutes that uses triangles?

The answer is yes but it's not a pretty sight!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog
I wanted to combine Simon Says Triangle Challenge and the 10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Bash Challenge and this is the result.
10 Minute Craft Dash & Triangles
Definitely not my best stamping or most creative moment but I did finish in 9 min. 11 sec. Phew, so stressful!

There's still time to play in the 10 Minute Dash and there's a wonderful prize up for grabs.

Thanks for stopping by!
