I made a card for Hero Arts monthly challenge.
I combined all the themes of using flowers, velveteen stamping and using this colour palette.
Now, you probably wondering what velveteen stamping is so here's a video to help you along.
The main image is done with the velveteen technique. On white cardstock I stamped a flower image in white pigment ink, let it dry and then stamped the fern ontop using Hero Arts Shadow Inks. The layering of the shadow ink with the white pigment ink produces a velvet or suede look to the fern, so cool! Love the texture you get from this.
I highly recommend trying out this fun technique, you'll love it!
I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Bit o' Green challenge.
Wishing you an inky day!
