It's been a long time since my last post, so I'm happy to be popping in today to share a card I made for the Hero Arts Sketch Challenge, which sadly, is over tomorrow.
I chose sketch #2 (the one with the flower) as my inspiration and made a shaker card.
I finally bought Hero's Butterfly Die and am so glad I did. I just love the large size and that it has so many cut-outs. I die cut mine out of paper that I colored with yellow, orange, pink and red India Ink.
Instead of using a tag to mount my butterfly on, I used a glassine envelope that I filled with Hero Arts Mixed Sequins. I think Hero Arts doesn't make them anymore as I couldn't find any on the website.
The background was white heat embossed with the Five Line Background stamp and the sentiment is from the Sending Smiles set.
To finish off I added Glitter Ritz to two edges of the card for some added sparkle.
I'm also entering this for A Blog Named Hero's You're the (em) Boss Challenge.
Thanks for visiting today, I appreciate all your lovely comments!
Have a great weekend!
