Least Favourite Colour

Yesterday there was a Scramble Challenge over here at the Hero Arts Flickr site and we had to make a card with our least favourite colour. 90 minutes to make and upload a card seems like a lot of time, it really isn't, but it's a fun way to get the creative juices flowing.

I had a hard time picking a least favourite colour but came up with yellow. It seems to be one of the colours I don't use very often.
I stamped the Definition image onto some yellow vellum and white embossed the flower twice ontop so I could layer my flower. I used one of my favourite Hero Arts stamps, Antique Flower Background with yellow ink and added my sentiment and some pearls.

I really like how this turned out, simple with a touch of elegance. I think I'll be using yellow a little more often.

    This is gorgeous, Sue! I'm glad you mentioned the definition stamp. I love the subtlety of it. The flower is absolutely gorgeous and I agree that you should use yellow more often if this is the result!

    Hi, Sue! I hardly ever use yellow either, but you made it look good here! I love the pretty vellum flower and the touches of black. Very nice! :-)

    Yellow is far from beeing my favourite colour, but this card made me think different.
    I love this card. Is really simple, beautiful and classy.... Awesome!
