Here's a couple of cards I made for the upcoming Easter holiday.

This first one uses the flowers from Simon Says Stamps Best Mom Ever set.

I watercoloured the flowers and leaves with Distress Markers and applied Wink of Stella for some shimmer.  It was my first time using my new Pretty Pink Posh border die to add a wonderful feminine edge and I just had to use a few of the Sparkle Clear Sequins to finish off the card.

My next card is very simple but I love how it turned out.

I white embossed the Fresh Flowers stamp from Clearly Besotted and coloured the flower with white pigment ink and a water brush. Love how it looks on kraft card stock.

I added a decorative edge with a die and finished off with some silk ribbon and clear gemstones.

I'm entering the top card for Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge, Special Lady/Girly Card.

Thanks for taking the time to visit with me today.

  1. Both cards are stunning, Sue! Love your soft shading on the first one and those white flowers look amazing on the second! Beautiful work, as always!

  2. Simply gorgeous cards, Sue! I have that die from PPP and haven't used it yet. I just may have to case your card. And, the white on kraft looks SO elegant. Love both stamp sets you used today.

  3. Both are GORGEOUS, Sue! Love the inking on the first one, the white on kraft card stock looks so serene and lovely! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Special Lady/Girly” Challenge!

  4. These are beautiful! Love the soft coloring and ombre in the first and the white pigment ink with waterbrush looks amazing! I've never tried that with pigment ink, but now I have to!

  5. Beautiful! I love how you've kept the mood soft in both the cards! Absolutely fabulous! I am definitely gonna try the pigment ink trick! :)

  6. Your card on kraft paper is just wonderful. Love, love it!
